Washington D.C. Courthouse Wedding + D.C. Wedding Portraits
My fabulous client let me know she was getting married at the Marriage Bureau at the Moultrie Courthouse in Washington, D.C. In lieu of a large traditional wedding, they wanted an intimate ceremony (just two witnesses) and portraits at all their favorite places in D.C. Oh boy, was I excited for this!
We started off at their home near American University. Of course, we must include the pup in the family portraits! Then, we were off to the wedding- with a quick pit stop for a few images at the National Air and Space Museum. After the ceremony, off to the Newseum and some fun middle of the street images with the United States Capitol Building in the background.
Next, Georgetown and the infamous Exorcist Stairs, right on M Street. Then, Blue Bottle Coffee and an ongoing celebration with champagne and Dangerously Delicious Pies. Up next, a cute bookstore and Blues Alley. And finally, the Georgetown Wave Mural.
SO FUN!!! Here's a small selection of the 350+ final images in my client's gallery.
